Our Denver Summer Concert Bucket List
Updated August 10, 2026: Denver's summer concert season still has major shows ahead at Red Rocks, Mission Ballroom, Empower Field, Ball Arena and Coors Field. Catbird puts guests in RiNo near Mission Ballroom, with practical options for turning a single show into a full Denver weekend.
Whether you're flying in for a Red Rocks night or planning a local staycation around a favorite artist, start with the remaining August highlights below. For outdoor routes, day trips and more warm-weather planning, use our Denver summer guide.
Denver concerts still ahead in August 2026
Red Rocks Amphitheatre
No Denver concert season feels complete without a night at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The venue sits roughly 40 minutes from Catbird by car, depending on traffic, with sandstone formations, open-air views and a schedule that keeps running well beyond summer.
Among the remaining August highlights are Empire of the Sun on August 11, Mt. Joy on August 13 and 14, LCD Soundsystem on August 15 and 16, Nathaniel Rateliff with the Colorado Symphony on August 18, and Reggae on the Rocks on August 22. Concert schedules and ticket availability can change, so confirm the official Red Rocks calendar before planning transportation.
Guests who would rather skip the drive can check BusPartyCo's current event calendar. Its member shuttle runs to selected Red Rocks shows from Black Shirt Brewing Co. at 3719 Walnut Street, directly across from Catbird. Red Rocks admission is separate from the shuttle ticket, and riders must meet BusPartyCo's membership and age requirements.
Mission Ballroom
Mission Ballroom is Catbird's easiest major concert venue, about a three-minute drive or a 15-minute walk through RiNo. Dillstradamus, featuring Dillon Francis back-to-back with Flosstradamus, arrives August 22 for a late-summer electronic show.
Catbird guests can also review the hotel's Mission Ballroom partnership for current stay and transportation options. On show days, guests can flash a Mission Ballroom ticket for all-night Halfie Hour specials at Rook Rooftop.
Empower Field at Mile High
Zach Bryan's With Heaven On Tour comes to Empower Field on August 13 and 14 with Ryan Bingham and The Texas Gentlemen and Fey Fili. Stadium shows require more arrival time than RiNo venues, so review the official event page for parking, gate and ticket details before leaving the hotel.
Ball Arena
J. Cole's The Fall-Off Tour reaches Ball Arena on August 21. The event begins at 8 PM, with doors scheduled for 7 PM. Ball Arena's event page is the best source for current timing, ticket and entry information.
Coors Field
My Chemical Romance brings The Black Parade 2026 tour to Coors Field on August 27 with The Breeders. The official Rockies concert page lists standard and premium ticket options and should be checked again before the show for venue guidance.
Plan the concert trip from Catbird
The right transportation depends on the venue. Mission Ballroom is close enough to reach on foot. Red Rocks requires advance transportation planning, whether that means the BusPartyCo shuttle, a designated driver or another reserved ride. Stadium and arena shows benefit from checking the venue's official arrival and bag policies before leaving RiNo.
Before a Mission Ballroom show, head to Rook Rooftop for skyline views, cocktails, billiards and the Mission ticket special. For Red Rocks, Black Shirt Brewing Co. doubles as the BusPartyCo meeting point directly across Walnut Street from the hotel.
Turn the show into a Denver stay
Concert trips work better with enough room to reset before the show and sleep in afterward. Catbird's rooms, studios and suites include full kitchens and apartment-style layouts in the center of RiNo, near neighborhood restaurants, nightlife and Mission Ballroom.
Because packages change throughout the season, use Catbird's current special offers rather than relying on a discontinued concert package. Then confirm show tickets and transportation directly with the venue or provider before booking the stay.
The best concert nights deserve more than a quick trip home. Make Catbird the RiNo base for the preshow, the encore and the next morning.
