If your night leads to Mission Ballroom, make RiNo your home base. Catbird Hotel puts you close enough to the music to make a whole weekend out of it without making getting to the show a production.

Catbird sits at 3770 Walnut Street, and Mission Ballroom's marquee is a scenic 15-minute walk through RiNo or only a 3-minute drive away. That proximity is the reason behind Catbird's partnership with Mission Ballroom: a room close enough that the show becomes part of the stay, not a separate errand you have to plan around.

The Date-Night Couple: The 303 Sleepover

Not everyone stays for the encore, and that's fine: some nights are about the time spent together more than the full three-hour set. The 303 Sleepover is built for you if you're ducking out during the last song to beat the crowd home. It's a stay made for locals who want the show without the commute back, the night doesn't end at the venue, it just changes rooms.

The Industry Insider: Park & Play

If you drive (local industry, or just someone who'd rather not deal with rideshare surge pricing on a sold-out night), this one's yours. Park & Play takes the car off your hands entirely: overnight valet comes free with the room. Leave the keys at the door, walk to the show, and let someone else worry about the parking lot.

Booking Around the Show Calendar

Mission Ballroom's music lineup runs deep: the venue's own show listings update as tours get announced, and Denver regularly lands national acts on their way through the Mile High City. The move is to check that lineup first, then work backward: when a show catches your eye, grab the room before the good ones disappear.

A 2-to-3-night stay gives the show room to breathe. Arrive the day before to settle in, eat well, and scope the neighborhood without a set time hanging over the evening. Make the show night itself the anchor. Then use the extra day after for the parts of RiNo you didn't have bandwidth for the night before: a slower coffee, a gallery, brunch that isn't rushed before a flight.

RiNo Music and Arts Walk

The walk from Catbird to Mission Ballroom is a good reason to skip the car. Check our Art & Music map for highlights, such as Larimer Lounge, a small stage that's booked touring acts and local openers since the late '90s, and The Walnut Room, which pairs Chicago-style pizza with a stage that's hosted everyone from Chris Isaak to the Flobots. Closer to the river, the RiNo Art Park houses the Bob Ragland branch of the Denver Public Library and RedLine Contemporary Art Center's satellite studios and gallery space, set along the Arkins Promenade above the South Platte.

Back at Catbird, Rook, the rooftop bar, keeps its own version of show-night hospitality going: flash a Mission Ballroom ticket stub and Halfie Hour specials go all night. It's a fitting final stop whether you left at the encore or stuck around for the house lights.

Make It a Habit, Not a One-Off

Mission Ballroom keeps the calendar loud, and Catbird makes it easy to turn a concert into a full RiNo weekend. Check in, grab a drink, wander to the show, then come home to Catbird when the encore ends. Sleep in, hit the rooftop, explore the neighborhood and maybe add that extra night because the best concert weekends deserve a little room to roam.
Come for the show. Stay for the whole RiNo encore.
