Hotel Policies
What time is check-in at the hotel? Is early check-in possible?
Check-in at the hotel is at 4 p.m. We are happy to provide an earlier check-in, if your room is available.
What time is checkout at the hotel? Is late checkout possible?
Checkout at the hotel is at 12 p.m. Late checkout is possible for a fee of:
- Complimentary until 1pm **upon availability**
- $75 1-4pm
- Half day rate 4-6pm
- Full rate 6pm-later
Is there an age minimum for check-in?
The minimum age for check-in at the hotel is 18.
What is the hotel’s cancellation policy?
There is no charge for cancellations made by 3pm, 2 days prior to your reservation date. A fee of one night room ad tax applies for cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to your reservation date.
Are pets welcome at the hotel? What facilities and services are available for pets?
Dogs are always welcome at the hotel. We charge a one time fee of $75, no breed or weight restrictions. Dogs receive a Welcome Pet Amenity, bed and bowls available upon request. Portions of fee is donated to Max Fund Animal Adoption Center. However, we do not charge for dogs under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), we accept service animals defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person’s disability. This does not apply to emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals because they have not been trained to perform a specific job or task, and therefore do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.
Please note, that despite our name Catbird, we ONLY accept dogs, no other pets are permitted at Catbird.
Is smoking allowed at the hotel?
Smoking is not allowed in the building, but there are designated smoking areas outside. The entire property is 100% non-smoking; $500 fee will be applied if any evidence of smoking or vaping is detected. This includes cigarettes, THC, Vapes, cigars, etc. ALL forms of smoking are prohibited.
What is the hotel policy on firearms?
Colorado is an open carry state allowing firearms to be carried openly. Denver, however, does not allow open carry but honors legal concealed carry for appropriately licensed citizens. We follow the same as Denver and do not allow any open carry-on property. Hotel guests who conceal carry must follow all local laws and store the firearm safely when in their rooms.

What is your housekeeping policy?
Catbird offers stayover cleaning service once a week (every 7 days).
*Catbird residents can purchase cleaning service for $50/per cleaning (Monday-Thursday between 9am-4pm).
Things to make your stay more enjoyable:
- Your room has a dishwasher and dish detergent is provided in the cupboard next to your stove.
- Multi-purpose antibacterial cleaner is in the upper cabinet of your room (above the refrigerator).
- Trash chute is located in the center of the hallway next to the water station.
- Laundry facilities are just down the hall, use of equipment and supplies are included in your stay...no card to load or bag of change needed.
- If you need fresh towels or replenishment of any items in your room, just dial 0 on your phone and member of our team will deliver them to your door.
Does the hotel offer parking?
Valet parking is available with (unlimited exit/entry privileges).
Daily Parking:
- $12 for up to 4 hours
- $18 for up to 8 hours
- $24 up to 12 hours
Overnight Parking: $42/per night
Monthly Parking: $400/month - covered parking
*Street parking and self-parking options are available in the neighborhood.
Is public transportation accessible from the hotel?
There are many public transportation options near the hotel.
The RTD A-line train drops off at the 38th and Blake Station, which is a 4-minute walk from the station off of Downing and Walnut Street.
RTD Bus Route 12, drops one-block from the hotel at 37th and North Marion Street.
Lyft and Uber are easily accessible, frequent stops and pickups in the RiNo neighborhood.
Is the hotel ADA accessible? What accessible features are offered at the hotel?

Are children welcome at the hotel? What facilities and services are available for children?
Children are always welcome at the hotel, and are encouraged to be accompanied with an adult 21 years and older. Catbird offers many family-fun activities with gear from The Playroom to play in and explore the RiNo neighborhood. Please select The Playroom tab from Our Story section of our website for a full list of gear, and reserve your favorite items today.
Can I receive mail and packages at the hotel?
We gladly accept mail and store packages on your behalf with our Amazon locker and storage system. Please speak to the concierge for more information or assistance.

How long can I stay at Catbird?
At Catbird, you can stay anywhere from 30 days to 12 months!
Does Catbird offer parking?

What is the housekeeping policy for long-term tenants?
Long-term tenants do not receive housekeeping services. Cleaning services can be purchased and scheduled through the Front Desk for $50//per cleaning; Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm.
Does Catbird have laundry facilities?
Catbird has four washers and three dryers on each floor for tenants to use.
