Join 9NEWS for the annual Parade of Lights, proudly presented by the Downtown Denver Partnership. For more than five decades, this beloved holiday tradition has brought our community together for an unforgettable evening of celebration.
Spectators of all ages will enjoy:
More than 40 dazzling floats, giant balloons, and vibrant cultural displays.
Marching bands, live musical performances, and equestrian units roaming downtown.
Special appearances by beloved holiday characters, including Major Waddles the penguin and Santa Claus!
The parade begins in Civic Center Park at 101 W 14th Ave, Denver, and follows a downtown route through Tremont, 17th Street, Arapahoe, and 15th Street. Viewing is free along the route with optional grandstand seating available.
