Denver-based multidisciplinary artist Joseph Graves Jr. presents a special Western-themed gallery pop-up featuring work from his acclaimed Black Western collection. Drawing on personal history, cultural heritage, and the overlooked stories of Black cowboys and ranchers, Graves layers bold imagery and rich narratives into paintings that honor resilience, identity, and the lived experience of the American frontier. This gallery moment offers a fresh, thoughtful perspective on Western art — a fitting complement to National Western Stock Show festivities. Keep the day going with pre- or post-exploration drinks upstairs at Rook before heading home.
